RECAP: 2019 Remodelers Showcase

Did you miss the 2019 Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase? No problem! We've got you covered with an inside look at our newest remodeled home. Located in the Creston Hills neighborhood of Edina, Minnesota, this home is gorgeous inside and out.

Originally built in the 1950s, this one and a half story home is no stranger to remodeling! Over the last fourteen years, it has undergone several remodels and even a few new additions by our team at Schrader & Co. For the latest renovation, the homeowners requested a complete remodel of the main level which included the kitchen and master bathroom.

The first step of this project was creating a spacious master bathroom. To do that, we converted the main level’s second bedroom into the new bathroom space, complete with two large walk-in closets. The end result is truly luxurious and features a custom tile shower with two showerheads and a built-in bench enclosed in glass.

Next, we updated the 2000s style kitchen and added an oversized walk-in pantry. In order to create the pantry, we converted the original ¾ bathroom into a smaller ½ bathroom. The space we freed up was used for the walk-in pantry which features a beautiful sliding barn door. Completing the kitchen remodel is a brand-new island, fresh paint, and new tile backsplash.
